MEETING WITH A CHINESE BUSINESS DELEGATION

Yesterday in Zielona Góra, a meeting took place with the participation of representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Poland, the Polish-Chinese Chamber of Commerce SinoCham and a 22-member Chinese business delegation.

The event was jointly prepared and delivered in close cooperation between the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, the Marshal's Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the Zielona Góra City Hall. The joint commitment of the three institutions made it possible to create a space for direct dialogue between representatives of Chinese business, local government and entrepreneurs from the region.

The Lubuskie Voivodeship local government was represented by Hubert Harasimowicz, Vice-Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, and the City of Zielona Góra – by the Mayor of the City, Marcin Pabierowski.

The meeting was an opportunity to present the economic potential of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and to discuss opportunities for developing economic and investment cooperation between Poland and China. In total, as many as 11 presentations by Lubuskie companies took place!

The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone was represented by the entire Management Board:

Tomasz Pisarek – President of the Management Board,

Magdalena Hilszer – Vice-President of the Management Board,

Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board.

Throughout the event, the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A. was supported by the full team of the Zone's Marketing Department, which was involved both in initiating the meeting and in its organisation and on-site service.

During the meeting, K-S SSE S.A. presented the support instruments available to entrepreneurs under the Polish Investment Zone, including the possibility of benefiting from a corporate income tax exemption.

An important part of the event was the presentation of the Polish-Chinese Chamber of Commerce SinoCham, followed by direct conversations between representatives of Chinese business and entrepreneurs from the Lubuskie Voivodeship. It was a space to establish new contacts, present company offers and discuss specific opportunities for future cooperation.

In the evening, we also had the pleasure of being guests of SinoCham at the China Night dinner, organised for the meeting's participants. It was an opportunity to continue the conversations in a less formal atmosphere, deepen the relationships established and hold further discussions on opportunities for cooperation between Polish and Chinese entrepreneurs.
