MOLDOVA – NEW PROSPECTS FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION
Yesterday, a meeting on the opportunities for developing economic and investment cooperation with the Republic of Moldova was held at the headquarters of the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Zachodnia Izba Przemysłowo-Handlowa) in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The guests of the meeting were H.E. Violeta Agrici, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Poland, and Olga Volcov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova.
The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone was represented by:
- Andrzej Kail – Marketing Director,
- Iwona Sztuka – Deputy Marketing Director.
The meeting was also attended by Hubert Harasimowicz, Deputy Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, as well as representatives of companies from the Lubuskie region.
The meeting was a continuation of cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova, which began during the historic visit of 15 ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps to the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
The talks were an opportunity to present Moldova's investment potential, discuss the possibilities of cooperation between Polish and Moldovan entrepreneurs, and identify areas in which joint business initiatives can be developed.
Soon, from 28 September to 2 October 2026, the 11th edition of Moldova Business Week will take place (details at: Moldova Business Week 2026 - Investment and Economy Forum) – one of the most important economic events in Moldova. We already invite you to take part! We will soon provide more information about the event and the opportunities to participate.
We thank the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova and the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce for another valuable meeting.
