THE POLISH INVESTMENT ZONE NEEDS CHANGES

On 31 July 2026 in Warsaw, during a meeting of the Parliamentary Group for the Polish Investment Zone, a joint position of all Special Economic Zone Managers on the draft amendment to the Act on supporting new investments was presented.

This is a particularly important moment, because on 31 December 2026 the statutory period of operation of Special Economic Zones in their current form comes to an end. Therefore, the new regulations should not only retain proven solutions, but also increase the attractiveness of the Polish Investment Zone for businesses.

The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone was represented by Magdalena Hilszer – Vice-President of the Management Board and Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board.

The most important demands of the SEZ Managers:

- greater flexibility of employment conditions,

- fewer administrative obligations and simpler procedures,

- a stable and predictable state aid system,

- protection of acquired rights and investor security.

We believe that the solutions developed will help maintain Poland's high competitiveness and create even better conditions for carrying out new investments.
