STUDY VISIT OF THE CLUB OF COMMERCIAL COUNSELLORS TO THE LUBUSKIE VOIVODESHIP – DAY 1
Today we had the pleasure of hosting in the City of Zielona Góra representatives of embassies accredited in Poland, as part of a study visit of the Club of Commercial Counsellors. It is a unique opportunity to present the economic potential of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, its investment attractiveness and the opportunities for international cooperation.
The event is attended by a delegation of diplomats representing 15 countries: Ireland, Portugal, China, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Malta, Georgia, Pakistan, India, Vietnam and Indonesia, led by Andrzej Szumowski, Vice President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
The first day of the visit was dedicated to presenting the modern and innovative face of the region. The event was officially opened by the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Sebastian Ciemnoczołowski. In Zielona Góra, the delegation visited the Space Technology Park – PTK Lubuskie and the headquarters of Ekoenergetyka - Polska S.A. – a European leader in the production of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone was represented by Tomasz Pisarek – President of the Management Board, Magda Hilszer – Vice President of the Management Board and Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board. We were also joined today by representatives of the Polish Parliament, Katarzyna Osos - Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and Elżbieta Anna Polak - Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, as well as numerous representatives of local governments, including the Vice Mayor of the City of Zielona Góra, Jarosław Flakowski.
The day ended at Przytok Golf & Resort, where an international mini golf tournament for the KSSSE President of the Management Board's Cup was held. Who won? Diplomatically, we will keep that information to ourselves.
More meetings and visits in NowaSő and Gorzów Wielkopolski are still ahead of us.
Organising an event of such rank and scale was possible thanks to close cooperation with the Marshal's Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the Polish Chamber of Commerce, which has for years been working to promote the Polish economy on foreign markets.
