MY FIRST BUSINESS - OLEŚNICA, 08.06.2026

On 08.06.2026  the assembly hall of I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Juliusza Słowackiego (Juliusz Słowacki Secondary School No. 1) in Oleśnica became a hub of business innovation. This was thanks to the final of the "My First Business" competition, organised in cooperation with K-S SSE S.A. and the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone "INVEST-PARK".

The students' task was to prepare a professional business plan. Out of 43 submitted entries, the five best qualified for the final and were presented before the competition jury.

The event was opened by the School Principal, Marzena Helińska. Next, representatives of K-S SSE S.A. took the floor: Tomasz Pisarek, President of the Management Board, who expressed appreciation for the participants' great commitment, and Agnieszka Matuła-Dziduch, Investment Projects Manager, who presented to the young people the principles of support for investors under the Polish Investment Zone.

Pride in the enterprising attitude of the young people was also expressed by the Mayor of Oleśnica, Adam Horbacz, and representatives of Oleśnica County: the Chairman of the County Council, Jan Bronś, and Wojciech Paszkowski, Member of the County Board.

After the official part came the most anticipated moment - the finalists' presentations. Before the audience and the competition jury, the following presented their innovative business ideas:

• Zofia Rubaszewska - „Finstart”

• Maja Różycka - „LIVO”

• Gabriela Pawlak - „Piknik Story”

• Zofia Kowalczyk - „AutoBox Marker”

• Milena Chudaszek - „AgroWeave”

After listening to all the presentations, the competition jury selected the winners:

1st place – Milena Chudaszek

2nd place – Zofia Rubaszewska

3rd place – Gabriela Pawlak

The young creators proved that they are not afraid of modern solutions, can respond creatively to contemporary challenges and look to the future with courage. Their projects showed that enterprise, innovation and commitment can be an excellent foundation for carrying out ambitious business plans.

We would like to extend special thanks to Anna Jaworowska, English teacher at I LO and the project coordinator.
