Strefa Gospodarki (Economy Zone), February 2026, interview with Andrzej Kail, Marketing Director of K-S SSE S.A.

The guest of presenter Agnieszka Moskaluk was Andrzej Kail, Marketing Director of Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A..

The conversation covered the most important topics relating to the start of 2026 in the zone. These included support decisions for new investments, the scale of declared investment expenditure and the new jobs that will be created in the region. The interview also presented the assumptions of the „Strefujemy Samorządy” (“Zoning Local Governments”) programme, aimed at representatives of local government units.

The discussion also addressed current economic challenges and new directions of investment development, including the growing importance of the security sector, dual-use technologies and the defence industry. In this context, the conference „Investment Zone for Defence and Dual-Use” was announced, which will take place on 17 March in Poznań.

One of the topics was also Polish-German cooperation, including the participation of the zone's representatives in the conference 4th Polish-German Business Talks in North Rhine-Westphalia in Essen. The importance of Germany as one of Poland's most important economic partners was emphasised, as was the role of cross-border cooperation in the development of investment in the region.

Attention was also drawn to the fact that the strength of the Polish economy lies in the creativity and entrepreneurship of its companies and their ability to adapt quickly to changing market and legislative conditions.
