SIGNING OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ZIELONA GÓRA 04.11.2025

We are delighted to announce that on 4 November 2025  a cooperation agreement was concluded between the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone and the University of Zielona Góra.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of the Zone: President of the Management Board Tomasz Pisarek, Member of the Management Board Antoni Sołtys, the Rector of the University of Zielona Góra, Prof. Wojciech Strzyżewski, DSc, Prof. Sebastian Saniuk of the University of Zielona Góra, and Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Prof. Waldemar Sługocki of the University of Zielona Góra, an advocate of building bridges between business and science.

KSSSE operates over a considerable area in three voivodeships (Lubuskie, Zachodniopomorskie and Wielkopolskie), generating new investments and jobs. For students, the agreement means access to companies operating in the zone, the opportunity to gain professional experience, make contacts and learn about the realities of industry and business.

In the first quarter of 2026, a team of specialists from the KSSSE marketing department, represented today by Director Andrzej Kail, his Deputy Iwona Sztuka and Senior Specialist Katarzyna Dombek, will deliver a series of lectures on how special economic zones function in Poland and on the rules for using the tax exemption that the zones offer. We are also planning a competition for students under the slogan „My First Business” and online meetings with large foreign industrial companies, during which students will witness production processes and gain practical knowledge of how an industrial company operates.

It is a partnership step towards fruitful cooperation!
