STUDY VISIT OF EMBASSY TRADE COUNSELLORS TO THE LUBUSKIE VOIVODESHIP
On 15–16 June 2026, the Lubuskie Voivodeship will host a study visit of Trade Counsellors from embassies accredited in Poland. The event aims to present the region's economic potential, its investment and export opportunities, and to promote international cooperation between Lubuskie businesses and foreign partners.
At the meeting, the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone will be represented by its Management Board consisting of: Tomasz Pisarek – President of the Management Board, Magdalena Hilszer – Vice-President of the Management Board and Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board. The visit will be attended by representatives of diplomatic missions from Ireland, Portugal, China, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Malta, Georgia, Pakistan, India, Vietnam and Indonesia. The presence of representatives of such diverse markets creates a unique opportunity to establish new business contacts and to promote the economic potential of the Lubuskie Voivodeship internationally.
The visit programme covers three cities: Zielona Góra, Nowa Sól and Gorzów Wielkopolski. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know the Lubuskie Voivodeship as an attractive place to live, work, do business and carry out investments.
One of the items on the programme will be a visit to the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation in Zielona Góra, one of the most modern research and development centres in Poland. The guests will also learn about the activities of the E-Mobility Innovation Hub Business Incubator, which supports the development of innovative projects related to electromobility and modern technologies.
An important element of the visit will be meetings with representatives of companies that are the hallmark of the Lubuskie economy. The Trade Counsellors will visit, among others, Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A. – one of the European leaders in the production of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the Nord Napędy production plants in Nowa Sól, specialising in modern drive systems for industry, and TPV Displays Polska in Gorzów Wielkopolski – one of the largest consumer electronics manufacturers in the region.
Thanks to its strategic location on Poland's western border, well-developed infrastructure, active entrepreneurs and a dynamically developing innovation sector, the Lubuskie Voivodeship is consistently strengthening its position as an attractive place to invest, do business and carry out projects of an international nature.
The organisers hope that the visit will contribute to the further development of economic cooperation between the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the countries represented by the participating Trade Counsellors, opening up new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and strengthening the region's international recognition.
